AGILITY has marked registered a milestone for its operations in Tasmania.

It was ten years ago Agility Logistics purchased a small boutique international logistics business, Willard Estate.

Agility state manager for Tasmania Brett Charlton said that during the past ten years Agility in Tasmania had grown to now have two offices with nine staff.

“Our business provides international logistics services to all aspects of the Tasmanian trading community with customers in the aquaculture, industrials, agriculture, manufacturing and mining industries as well as supporting the Antarctic program, – many of whom have begun their international trading experience with us or have grown upon it,” Mr Charlton said.

“We are very proud to be what we consider as partners with Tasmanian businesses as they explore international markets. We have been through ups and downs with our customers on the global rollercoaster of trade, but we have always been there behind the scenes working to ensure that the most expedient and economic process of shipping goods is being used to support Tasmanian trade.”

Mr Charlton issued a thank-you to customers and suppliers who had been a part of their journey during the last ten years.

“Thank you to all the Tasmanian Agility staff, past and present – the passion and energy in ensuring that freight moves to and from Tasmania is the reason behind our success and, we always believe, a large part of the success of our customers,” Mr Charlton said.
