THE Supply Chain & Logistics Association of Australia has opened bookings for its networking event on 8 March in Sydney.

Being held on International Women’s Day, the breakfast event will feature a number of leading women in the industry speaking on the subject of resilience.

NSW Ports CEO Marika Calfas will speak on the topic of resilience in the supply chain from a ports perspective, and lawyer Alison Cusack will address issues related to resilience in the workforce.

SCLAA has chosen to use the event to raise funds for WAGEC (Women’s and Girls’ Emergency Centre). Its CEO Helen Waters Silvia will also speak at the event on the topic of resilience in life.

WAGEC was founded more then 40 years ago and works tirelessly to house and support victims of Domestic and Family Violence. Each night at WAGEC they are accommodating 200 women and children.

As well as a fantastic line up of industry keynote speakers, the event will include a sit-down breakfast and champagne, networking and a silent auction, which includes a beautiful piece of jewellery donated by Nic Cerrone.

The event will be held at NSW Parliament House, Macquarie Street, from 8:30am-11:00am (AEDT).
