COMMUNITIES in and around Lismore are still in need of assistance after the recent devastating floods that wreaked havoc in northern NSW and south-east Queensland.

The local transport industry is banding together to bring much needed goods to those in need, but they need help.

An urgent call has been issued for donations of goods and equipment, particularly bottled water, stretcher beds, cooking equipment (gas stoves, pots and pans) and generators. See the list below for other items.

At the moment, goods are being consolidated and sent to Lismore via Daves Trucks in Brisbane. Organisers have said consolidation options in Sydney and transport north for donations is still needed.
