THE VOLUME of coal handled for export by Port Waratah Coal Services through its Kooragang and Carrington terminals increased to 111.3 million tonnes in 2021, the tenth consecutive year in which volumes exceeded 100 million tonnes. This volume represented a significant year-on-year increase and was the second highest annual volume on record.
