SINGAPORE-flagged bulker Friedrich Schulte (IMO: 9841940) has made its maiden appearance at the Port of Townsville.
The brand-new 38,000 tonne bulker built in China sailed straight from a shipyard in China through to the North Queensland harbour.

The ship collected a cargo of fertiliser which is now being shipped to Pakistan.
Townsville does a busy trade in fertiliser, exporting some 800,000 tonnes during the 2016-17 for example.
