CHIEF commercial officer of the National Intermodal Corporation, Simon Ormsby, is set to use an ICHCA Australia lunch this month to provide an update on progress with the Beveridge Intermodal Precinct.
Mr Ormsby is speaking at the ICHCA lunch which is to be held at the RACV Club in Melbourne on Wednesday 28 October.
He has more than two decades of experience as a senior executive across transport and logistics.
Before joining National Intermodal, he played an important role in establishing and growing the Australian Rail Track Corporation.
ICHCA Australia's Peter van Duyn said the luncheon would be an opportunity to hear what the National Intermodal Company had planned for the development of the Beveridge Intermodal Precinct especially in light of the recent release of the Victorian Rail Freight Plan 2026- 2036 by the Victorian government.
Bookings for the lunch close on Thursday 22 October.
