SIXTY of shippings finest golf talent assembled at Waterford Valley Golf Course east of Melbourne in early April for the Phil Kelly OAM Perpetual Trophy.

Temperatures of 23-26 degrees made for perfect golfing conditions.

Time lost playing golf was well accounted for by weeks end having had the added opportunity to network with the who’s who of industry talent.

Team ANCRA won the event in 2018 but was narrowly defeated this time by Leigh Taylors Westlink Container Park entry.

The two longest drives were won respectively by Ben Moke from DPWA and Tom Hill from Port of Melbourne. Tom additionally won closest to the pin, providing evidence a lower centre of gravity coupled with a broad set of shoulders provides an unfair advantage.
