PARLIAMENT House in Sydney will play host this year to the Australian Supply Chain and Logistics Association (ASCLA) International Women’s Day Event on Friday 6 March.

ASCLA NSW/ACT president Irene Martinez Gonzalez said the event was for professionals from supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, transport, procurement, and operations “for an afternoon of meaningful connection and conversation”.

“It’s a wonderful opportunity to give back while celebrating the strength and impact of women across our industry,” Ms Gonzalez said.

“In addition, we will be hosting an auction with all funds raised proudly supporting OzHarvest.”

Charity speaker on the day is Lisa Dainty, OzHarvest national partnerships manager.

OzHarvest is Australia’s leading food rescue organisation and Ms Dainty works with businesses to create shared purpose and drive meaningful social and environmental impact by feeding people in need and stopping good food from going to waste.

The event will include a panel session chaired by Ms Gonzalez (senior product manager of Amazon in Australia and previously a senior supply chain Consultant at KPMG).

The panellists are to be Kari Banick (chief operating officer at Blackwoods), John Kelly (CEO Logic Health) and Nicole Dixon (chief product and technology officer at Ofload).

All attendees will automatically be entered into the draw for a selection of exciting raffle prizes.

ASCLA NSW is also launching a brand-new award for International Women's Day 2026, created to celebrate the women who are shaping the future of supply chain and logistics.

“This award recognises an outstanding woman in NSW or ACT who is a true changemaker,” Ms Gonzalez said.

“Someone who uplifts others, drives innovation, and contributes meaningfully to the growth and advancement of our sector.”

Doors open at 11:15am and the cost is $159 + GST for members and $200 + GST for non-members.
