FREMANTLE Ports has released early tender advice for upcoming works at the Kwinana Bulk Terminal, signalling the next phase of modernisation at one of Western Australia’s key import–export gateways.
The notice, published through the port’s official channels, outlines forthcoming procurement activity for infrastructure upgrades at the terminal.
While detailed tender documents are still to come, the early advice indicates Fremantle Ports is preparing industry for a multi‑stage works program aimed at improving terminal capability and long‑term asset performance.
Kwinana Bulk Terminal handles a diverse mix of bulk trades including cement clinker, gypsum, slag, silica sand and other industrial inputs essential to WA manufacturing and construction.
The planned works are expected to support higher reliability across these supply chains and align with the port’s broader strategy to strengthen bulk‑handling capacity south of Fremantle.
The early tender advice follows a series of recent infrastructure announcements across WA’s port network, with Fremantle Ports signalling increased transparency around procurement timelines to help contractors prepare for upcoming opportunities.
