Evergreen expands eBL capabilities through Bolero’s Galileo platform

EVERGREEN Line has expanded its long‑running electronic Bills of Lading (eBL) partnership with Bolero, making Evergreen eBLs available through Bolero’s Galileo platform and significantly widening access for global freight forwarders, shippers, consignees, logistics providers and financial institutions connected to WiseTech’s ecosystem.

WiseTech said the move extends Evergreen’s existing eBL capabilities beyond its own customer network to the industry’s largest digital community of CargoWise, INTTRA and Galileo users, enabling trusted exchange of trade documentation across all participants in the supply chain.

WiseTech operates Galileo, Bolero’s secure digital platform for managing the lifecycle of eBLs and related trade‑finance documents. The system ensures verified documentation moves in step with cargo, supporting release processes and settlement of trade finance as shipments progress through the chain.

The expanded Evergreen eBL service is built on the Digital Container Shipping Association’s (DCSA) API v3.0 standards, providing faster document transfer, improved visibility, reduced administrative effort and stronger support for digital trade‑finance workflows.

Evergreen has offered Intelligent Bills of Lading (iBLs) powered by Bolero technology for more than seven years within its own customer network. Publishing eBLs to Galileo now allows Evergreen customers — and the wider CargoWise and INTTRA communities — to request and access Evergreen eBLs through existing digital workflows, accelerating document processing and supporting broader industry digitalisation.

Evergreen said the expansion reflects its commitment to simplifying global trade through secure digital solutions and reducing reliance on paper documentation. By adopting DCSA standards and widening access to eBLs, the carrier aims to improve interoperability, speed, transparency and operational efficiency across the supply chain.

WiseTech Global vice‑president for carrier integration and transformation, Ashley Skaanild, said Evergreen has been a consistent leader in eBL adoption.
