FREMANTLE Ports will bring back its flagship community event, Maritime Day in November 2027 — with organisers promising a larger, more accessible program once major works at Victoria Quay are completed.
The port authority has announced the update on its LinkedIn channel, noting that the pause in 2025–26 will allow time to reimagine the event layout and visitor experience while construction continues across the precinct.
The 2027 edition will shift to the Fremantle Passenger Terminal, providing additional space and improved access for exhibitors, industry partners and families.
Delivered in partnership with the Company of Master Mariners, Maritime Day will again showcase Western Australia’s maritime sector through:
*Vessel tours and interactive exhibits
* Royal Australian Navy displays
* Education and training pathways
* Maritime history features
* Family‑friendly activities
The event has long been one of Fremantle Ports’ largest public engagement days.
In 2024, more than 8000 people attended, underscoring the strong community connection to the state’s maritime and logistics industries.
Fremantle Ports said it looked forward to welcoming visitors back in 2027, with the refreshed program expected to highlight both industry capability and the evolving Victoria Quay precinct.
