Positive July shipping figures for Pilbara

PILBARA Ports Authority has achieved a 5% increase month-on-month, with a July throughput of 59.7 million tonnes.

The Port of Port Hedland achieved a monthly throughput of 43.8 million tonnes of which 43.3 million tonnes were iron ore exports. The monthly throughput was a 5% increase from July 2019.

Imports through the Port of Port Hedland totalled 193,000 tonnes, an increase of 20% from the same month in 2019.

The Port of Dampier delivered a total monthly throughput of 14.8 million tonnes, an increase of 6% from July 2019.

Imports through the Port of Dampier totalled 40,000 tonnes, a decrease of 81% from the same month in 2019.
