THE PORTS Australia Biennial Conference is back on the agenda after a COVID-19 hiatus.

It is to be held in Brisbane over 30 August through 1 September. The conference will focus on the theme of “risk and resilience”.

Ports Australia’s biennial conferences are opportunities for the ports and maritime industries to engage with peers and colleagues and discuss the important issues of the day.

While the speaker line-up for this year’s conference is yet to be announced, previous conferences featured a range of politicians, policy makers and academics involved in the Australian maritime industry.

Also, as part of the conference, there will be an opportunity to tour the Port of Brisbane.

And no conference would be complete without a soiree. The Ports Australia Biennial Conference will feature a welcome cocktail reception on the first day and gala dinner on the second day.
