GREENSTREAM, a Sydney-based recruitment and talent advisory firm dedicated exclusively to the maritime, shipping, and marine sectors, has become the latest corporate associate member of Shipping Australia.

Founded in 2025 by managing director Ozan Cabadag, who has worked for more than three decades in international shipping and has several years’ recruitment experience, including in Perth and Singapore, GreenStream also works closely with partners in key maritime hubs including London and Singapore, SAL says.

The firm focuses on mid-level to senior appointments across operations, technical, and commercial functions, as well as roles emerging from the industry’s energy transition, alternative fuels, increasing digitisation, and greater adoption of AI.

Mr Cabadag said his company was pleased to be part of an organisation that plays an important role in representing and supporting the maritime industry. “As the sector continues to evolve — particularly through the energy transition, alternative fuels, increasing digitisation, and greater adoption of AI — access to the right talent will be critical.”

Shipping Australia’s chief executive, Capt. Melwyn Noronha: “Ozan and GreenStream bring deep sector expertise to our association, and they are talent-advisors who understand the nuances of recruitment across the maritime sector. Our members can only benefit from access to GreenStream’s insight and experience.”

Meanwhile, Freight & Trade Alliance has created a new national executive role, Head of Training and Events, and appointed Jade Pearce.

“With more than 20 years’ experience delivering conferences, events, training programs and digital engagement initiatives across Australia, Jade brings a strong blend of strategic leadership, operational expertise and member-focused delivery,” FTA director Paul Zalai said.

“Having successfully led and grown her own event agency with a focus on innovative technology, Jade has worked with associations, government, healthcare, corporate and industry organisations to deliver high-quality experiences that connect people, build knowledge and drive outcomes.”

Ms Pearce told DCN’s Caroline Tung she was "looking forward to working closely with the FTA and APSA member community and contributing to an industry that plays such an important role in Australia’s economy".

“I’m excited by the opportunity to deliver valuable, engaging training and events, and to connect with members across Australia and New Zealand through upcoming CPD programs, industry initiatives and of course the inaugural Australia and New Zealand Shipping & Logistics Conference, in August 2026.”
