GUESTS to the 2025 Ports Australia BizOps conference marked the start of the event with a drinks session at Auckland House overlooking Gladstone Harbour.

As the sun set over the water, new friendships were made and old acquaintances renewed. Later in the evening, there was a gala dinner providing further networking opportunities.

People attended from across Australia as well as the Solomon Islands and Fiji.

BizOps, a key event on the Ports Australia calendar, was held at Gladstone Entertainment Centre with a range of presentations in such areas as sustainability, safety and energy innovations.

The two-day conference had a packed agenda including presentations and discussions around Port & logistics optimisation,  AI, Safety, Diversity and Decarbonisation to name a few. Further DCN coverage on the presentation of these topics to come.
