COMEDIAN Peter Rowsthorn, also known as Brett from the Kath and Kim series, is set to be a highlight at this year Australian Supply Chain and Logistics Association Industry Awards at Brisbane City Hall on Friday 23 October.
An exceptionally high calibre of entries already has been reported, with ticket sales closing this Friday (16 October).
The awards have a history spanning more than 60 years and recognise the people and organisations raising standards across the industry.
According to organisers, this year attracted “an unprecedented number of submissions and an exceptionally high calibre of entries, with 59 finalist entries announced across 11 categories and 12 awards to be presented on the night”.
The gala dinner is to bring together finalists, industry leaders, colleagues and supporters together.
For the wider industry, it is expected to be an opportunity to share in that recognition, strengthen connections and celebrate the achievements of the sector alongside the people behind them.
Guests are to enjoy a three-course dinner, premium drinks package and entertainment.
Keynote speaker Megan Corfield, founder and chief executive of Glass Ladder, is to bring insights from more than 25 years of executive leadership across business, government and major events.
Special guest speaker Scott Wiltshire, vice president and general manager, Oracle NetSuite ANZ, is to explain how connected systems and trusted data can help businesses make more confident decisions in a world increasingly driven by AI.
