AGENTS of the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission have raided the premises of WiseTech Global in relation to alleged breaches of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010.
In a statement to investors, WiseTech Global said an ACCC search warrant was executed on the company requiring the production of documents and electronic data in relation to the supply of global logistics services and software.
“WiseTech intends to fully cooperate with the investigation,” the company said in a statement.
According to the ACCC website, the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 covers “most areas of the market: the relationships between suppliers, wholesalers, retailers, and consumers. Its purpose is to enhance the welfare of Australians by promoting fair trading and competition, and through the provision of consumer protections”.
An ACCC spokesperson toldDCN after Wisetech Global’s issue of an ASX statement, “the ACCC confirms that it has executed a search warrant on Wisetech’s premises”.
“The ACCC’s investigation is ongoing and it will not comment further at this time,” the spokesperson said.
The past year has at times been challenging for WiseTech, founder Richard White stepping down as executive chair as of early July, and the announcement earlier in 2026 that that company would be shedding 2000 jobs due to global AI disruption.
