SPECIALIST marine insurance broker, AlphaXO Risk Partners, has celebrated its move to new North Sydney and a year since their major rebrand by inviting people to take a ‘dip’.

Marine insurance underwriters and business partners joined the AlphaXO team at their new offices to celebrate the milestone.

The event also helped with the firm’s fundraising campaign to give $50,000 to charity in 2019.

The campaign began with two senior executives, Andrew Glover and Rupert Morton, taking the plunge in the Balmoral Open Water Swim recently, supporting the CanToo Foundation’s fight against cancer.

Their next charity event is already planned. The Mood Walk is in support of Black Dog’s research into life-saving action and creating a mentally healthier world.

Underwriters and clients are encouraged to join the AlphaXO walkers in Sydney on 4 May.

“As specialist brokers, we are always grateful for the support of our marine underwriting and other business partners we work with,” joint managing director Simon Gosnell said.

“The new office event was the first time we have been able to thank them since our rebrand to AlphaXO a year ago.”

Mr Gosnell said it was great to see people were engaged in the goal of giving back money to charity.

“We are hoping many of business partners will not just donate but also join us in our charity endeavours,” he said.
