THE Australian logistics sector has stepped up to support the bushfire recovery effort.
In one recent example, Globelink International has launched a pledge to support the bushfire recovery by donating $2 for every cubic meter of freight booked.
Money is donated to the World Wildlife Fund for Nature and the Red Cross.
Other suppliers also have been contacted to match their support to raise funds raised.
Globelink managing director Jacqui McCombie said they were passionate about this issue because it was one of the greatest challenges to ever face this country.
