A PHOTO booth, allowing guests to capture special memories, is a new innovation for tonight’s Shipping and Maritime Industry Awards.

It is the first time there has been a photo booth at the awards and this year’s innovation is sponsored by maritime law firm Cusack & Co. A Cusack & Co

Photo booths have their origins in the late 1880s, but really took hold in the 1990s as part of Japanese ‘Kawaii’ or ‘cute’ culture.

The 2019 DCN Australian Shipping and Maritime Industry Awards are being held tonight at the Plaza Ballroom, 191 Collins Street, Melbourne.
