PORT of Melbourne has lent a hand to support Foodbank Victoria, with its staff volunteering on a monthly basis.
Foodbank has just released its seventh Hunger Report, which seeks to raise awareness of the issue of food stress in our communities and Foodbank’s efforts to alleviate it.
The report also highlights that women are 50% more likely to experience food insecurity.
“Port of Melbourne highly recommends Foodbank’s corporate volunteering program to DCN readers as a way to bring staff together for a worthy cause,” a Port of Melbourne spokesperson said.
