QUBE Energy has announced it has been successful in winning a three-year tender to house a new supply base at Portland in south-west Victoria.

The base is to be operating a series of land-based and marine logistics services for Cooper Energy.

Qube Energy already has been active recruiting a team and acquiring machinery and has now opened the new supply base.

Qube Energy general manager Dan Steel was delighted with the result.

“We are both delighted and excited to welcome the new Portland Supply base team,” Mr Steel said.

“After a long process of tendering, we are pleased to be working with Cooper Energy on this project and look forward to success in this new operation.”

According to Qube, the contract cements their position as a global logistics provider to top-tier oil and gas organisations throughout Australia and South East Asia.

Qube Energy now has the capacity to provide oil and gas logistics support in both the Gippsland and Otway basins with supply bases at Barry Beach, Victoria Dock and Portland.
