SpecTec looks to APAC growth with Singapore appointments

MARITIME technology provider SpecTec has strengthened its Asia-Pacific operations from its Singapore hub, appointing two senior executives as it expands support for shipowners and operators across the region, including Australia..
The appointments support SpecTec’s strategic focus on expanding its presence in Asia-Pacific.
Steve Yeoh has been appointed APAC sales and partner manager, based in Singapore.
He is responsible for developing SpecTec’s partner ecosystem and strengthening customer engagement across the region.
He is said to have a strong background in maritime technology and commercial operations and is to focus on delivering “tailored solutions that respond to the evolving needs of shipowners, managers and operators in the region”.
SpecTec has also appointed Hailey How as finance manager, also based in Singapore.
She is said to bring extensive experience in financial operations, cost control and vendor management, and is to play a key role in strengthening financial governance while supporting strategic initiatives that drive sustainable growth and operational efficiency across the region.
SpecTec has been in Singapore for more than 20 years, and the company believes the Asia-Pacific has long been a strategically important region.
These appointments are said to mark a renewed focus on building a strong, locally-based team that is deeply connected to SpecTec’s customers and partners.
SpecTec chief executive Adam Dennett said the “Asia-Pacific was a strategically important market, and building a strong, local commercial team was essential.

SpecTec chief commercial officer Sas Huntwood said these appointments would help them strengthen their presence in the region and work more closely with customers to deliver solutions.
“By expanding our local team with experienced professionals, we are well positioned to support customers across Asia-Pacific while contributing to the region’s ongoing digital transformation,” Mr Huntwood said.
