FORMER Geelong star Steve Johnson was guest speaker at the annual Container Transport Alliance Australia club Grand Final Lunch last week.
Held at the Yarraville Club in Melbourne’s inner west, the event attracted a cross section from the transport and logistics sectors.
Mr Johnson regaled his audience with stories from his lengthy career as a Cat (and later a Giant), including how he was almost traded to Collingwood 20 years ago.
CTAA director Neil Chambers said Grand Final Lunch marked “an opportunity for container logistics providers to treat their staff and customers to some fun and networking ahead of ‘the big dance’ on the last Saturday in September”.
