CUSTOMS brokers and many others from transport and logistics are set to gather in Perth for the International Trade Ball.
To be held at Duxton Hotel in Perth, the event has been billed as “an old school night out”.
Co-organiser Jason Radford from Tigers International said there was a feeling the industry needed to keep up its spirits.
“Building on the success of our shipping industry nights we got the feedback that industry wanted to have the International Trade Ball back,” Mr Radford said.
Emma Cribbin from Go Transport Logistics Consultancy said they wanted to keep the trade ball tradition alive.
“We wanted to keep the tradition of the trade ball, started by John Park, alive, so eight members of the Perth trade industry got together with the help and knowledge of John to reboot the Annual Trade Ball,” Ms Cribbin said.
Ms Cribbin said they were aiming to sell 200 tickets.
