FOOTAGE has been posted on YouTube of a collision between two ships in the Malacca Strait, Malaysia.

According to Marine-Pilots.com, the vessels involved were the Sierra Leone-flagged dredger Oceanline 5001 (IMO 8656972) and the anchored tanker Strovolos (IMO 9178056), flagged in the Bahamas.

Details remain sketchy but DCN has received no reports of injuries.

The tanker seemingly incurred a portside hull breach above the waterline and, seemingly, some cargo deck damage.
