MARITIME Cook Islands has entered the 84-metre trimaran superyacht White Rabbit to its registry. The registry is understood to be the largest aluminium and tri-hull superyacht in the world. According to MCI, the registration adds 3000 gross tonnes to the Cook Island flag’s total tonnage. MCI says it has a goal of achieving 10% of the world’s superyacht fleet. White Rabbit was designed by Sam Sorgiovanni and built by Australian superyacht builder, Echo Yachts. Sam Sorgiovanni’s business, Sorgiovanni Designs, was established in 1997. In 2006 it was an Award Finalist for Boat International: Best Motor Yacht title. Echo Yachts operates from waterfront facilities in the Australian Marine Complex in Henderson, Western Australia.
