AN INCIDENT at the Port of Antwerp is sure to keep investigators busy for a while, with footage seemingly showing the container ship APL Mexico City striking the gantry of an STS container crane, causing it to collapse.
Media reports suggested no-one was hurt during the incident, which appears to have occurred during poor weather, a likely occurrence during the northern winter.
The terminal was operated by DP World. APL Mexico (IMO 9632210) is flagged in Singapore and was launched in 2014.
It is 328metres long and 45metres wide.
